For the last several months in France our restrictions have been that we could not travel more than 10 km from home without a reason selected from the list provided by the government. That 10 km restriction will be lifted on May 3. However, the 7PM - 6AM curfew stays in effect for a while longer.

Meanwhile we continue our daytime visits to Parc Oberthür, the canal and the interesting neighborhood with all the cool shops.

Our little courtyard is overgrown because yard care was not considered essential
during the pandemic.
Local street art. A long fish bench for little people
at Parc Oberthür.
Rooster wood carving in the playground
at Parc Oberthür.
And a cat. Lots of great shops in our area.

Our kit kats are still maturing but at a slower pace than I'd like. I don't know how mothers do it. No sleep and extreme patience. I guess because babies, like kitties, are so incredibly cute. Seriously - look how cute they are!

Sometimes I swear the kit kats are squirrels. They like to chew through things. Fortunately they turn that attention exclusively to cardboard boxes these days. Unfortunately for Tommy it's often one he's sleeping in.

I gave another presentation to the STEM klatch I hang with in Eugene OR. This one was about projection mapping onto heritage buildings in Europe. Links to some amazing light shows are included in that presentation's pdf which can be downloaded from our blog site Take a look. The videos are from several European countries. The stuff from Moscow, especially, is incredible. Plus there's info on the equipment and procedures needed for those shows, and for your home, if you are so inclined.

Below are two images from a couple of the many videos linked in the STEM presentation pdf. These images do not do justice to the presentations, but they provide a taste of what's in store in the videos.
